A view of Apple’s new campus – Apple Park
Apple’s new spaceship campus themed “Apple Park”, opened to its employees back in April, and today it welcomed hundreds of journalists as the company launches its new iPhone X hardware. Although numerous press images and drone footage has been released before, a closer look was only gotten today as to what Apple Park looked like from the ground. Apple Park features a 1,000 seat Steve Jobs Theater, and a spectacular view of the hill that overlooks the campus.
The theater features a glass elevator which rotates as it descends, an enchanting view across the visitor center and surrounding park lands. The park was originally envisioned by Steve Jobs. Apple Park consists of 2.8 million-square foot of space, and also features the world’s largest panels of curved glass.
The Park also includes one of the world’s largest solar installations along with 100% renewable energy. Inside the visitor’s center which will be opening later this year, there is an augmented reality experience which displays the campus and its design. view some of the images below:
