Nigerian actor and musician, Wale Ojo, who is known for his role in the Nigerian movie “Phone Swap,” has shared with the world his plans to grow movie industry.

During a show with Accelerate TV, Ojo revealed his plans to create an open-air cinema in Lagos, which will allow people to watch Nigerian movies within the price range of ₦150 to ₦200. Here is what he had to say about his plans for the outdoor cinema.

“I really believe in community cinema – that is, cinema for the people. What I’m trying to do is create a huge open-air space where everybody comes to watch a Nigerian film and pay about N150 to N200 to enjoy themselves.”

The outdoor cinema according to Ojo will be located at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, and is expected to improve the movie patronage in Nigeria.
